Express yourself from 13,500ft., 200ft., or in a glass bowl :)

A few pics from my trip. I started and ended in Orlando, Florida. You can most likely figure out where I went by looking at the photos. Bike was a 2004 Buell Lightning XB12S, it has about a 100 mile range before the low fuel warning light comes on, which made route selection difficult in some places. The stock seat on this bike is more like a mideval torture device after a couple of hours. Those two reasons alone are why I should have taken one of my other bikes, but I was out to prove a point to my friends; It doesn't matter what bike you are riding if you are determined to have some fun! Oh, by the way, this was a solo trip with minimal gear and I'm a diabetic!

Loaded up and ready to go.

Blue Ridge Parkway, North Carolina

US 129, "The Dragon", 318 curves in 11 miles!

Cherohala Skyway, from NC into TN

Beautiful scenery

Jack Daniel Distillery, Lynchburg, Tennessee

The Parthenon, downtown Nashville

Fort Knox, Kentucky

St. Louis Arch

I took this picture for my Mom. This is the hospital where I was born, Ft. Leavenworth, Kansas. I took the pic on my birthday at the same time I was born.

In the middle of nowhere on the side of the highway, South Dakota

Badlands, South Dakota

Devils Tower, Wyoming

I find Wyomings only State Trooper...at least he was cool

These were brand new when I left...now 6126 miles later

A full moon for my return home.

Next time I'm taking the touring bike!

awesome pics!! looks like a great time...I'd love to travel across the country on a bike...I am always on the back though, and the seat is definately not very comfortable for that kind of traveling! Maybe someday!

Thanks, yeah I had a blast. I do at least one long distance trip a year to keep my sanity and do a little soul searching. Do you have your license yet? If so, just do it! You'll never regret it.
Have not figured out where I'm going this year???

Nah, I don't have my license yet...I got a lotta stuff on my "to do" list, just haven't done it...someday! :) Sounds like you have the time of your life riding! That's awesome! I've been through Utah a little bit and what I saw was beautiful...I hear it's even more beautiful than what I have seen...maybe that would be a good trip for you!!!!
